About Project
KATELYN ORTEGO is an Atlanta-based photographer setting a new standard for photography. As Katelyn and I began the process of refreshing her brand, she expressed her desire to move away from creating images that simply replicate passing trends, and instead, create fresh and unexpected images that break industry norms and capture the true essence and honest beauty of each individual, couple, and brand.
To visualize the idea of breaking through standards, we developed a language of deconstructed layouts that break a traditional grid (symbolizing "breaking") paired them with clean geometric fonts (symbolizing "standards") and topped it off with a classic color palette that embodied the brand filters Katelyn chose : authentic, timeless, refreshing, simple, thoughtful, and modern.
