About Project
INK THEATER is a process-based theater program that provides an exploratory arts education for kids and teens by unleashing their unlimited creative potential.
To visualize the idea of unfettered creativity, CANOPY designed a logo system featuring an ink blot, that is not only the theater’s namesake, but a representation of messy creativity — the courage to start somewhere, and the willingness to be imperfect throughout the process.
Striking paint splashes are applied throughout the brand’s website and photography, and are further emphasized by a bright color palette distinctively similar to the hues found in a package of crayons, a hallmark of childhood creativity and imagination.
